You don’t need an app or an account to run a music quiz with friends. The free guess the song game gives you three easy ways to play together.
Share a challenge link
After a round, tap the challenge button and send the link. Your friend hears the exact same song and clip and can try to beat your score.
Compare daily quiz scores
The daily quiz has five songs that are the same for everyone today. Each player plays on their own phone, then everyone posts their result in the group chat.
Play in the same room
Put the game on a TV or laptop. One person controls the play button, everyone shouts answers, and the first correct answer wins the point. Use the skip button when nobody knows it.
House rules that keep it fair
- Pick the genre and era together before you start.
- Agree whether artist names count or only titles.
- Give a bonus point for guesses at 0.1 seconds.
- Rotate who holds the controls every five songs.
